Beautifully decorated, rare marble bench, Carrara marble, Tuscany, 17th Century
The seat rests on movable feet decorated with acanthus. The back decorated with dragons is delimited laterally by side cheeks with a design similar to that of the feet. The backrest is surmounted by winged river deities who hold a family coat of arms in their center. This one represents a crescent moon with two stars. Tuscany around 1680.
